AIKIDO:
This dynamic and cardio intensive class will teach you effective self defense through the use of timing, movement, and balance taking. Class begins with a quick stretching routine to loosen up the body and prepare you for class. Next you’ll progress to the basic movements of Aikido foot work, and finally you’ll work on rolling and tumbling skills. Once the warm-up is completed, the instructor will guide you through a series of self defense techniques. Aikido is always practiced with a partner and you will frequently change partners during the class. This way, you’ll learn to apply Aikido technique to training partners of all shapes and sizes. Aikido is practiced in a white judo uniform.
